Large Gang Sweep Leads to Breaking Down of Human Trafficking Ring

We’re learning more about how the dismantling of a gang in Fresno is also helping to break the human trafficking ring in the City. The Fresno Police Department arrested nearly 30 members of the Dog Pound Gang, or DPG. On Thursday, Chief Jerry Dyer called the sweep the largest and most impactful gang sweep in the history of the City. He coined it Operation Dog Track. Dyer said the gang financed almost all of it’s violent operations through money from sex trafficking.
